This August, Brenna Findley, Republican candidate running for Iowa Attorney General, operates on small amounts of sleep.

Monday, Findley awoke at 5:30 a.m. from her home in Dexter, traveled to Clinton for a radio interview, then toured northeast Iowa, making six stops. Those destinations included Maquoketa, Manchester, Anamosa, Tipton, Davenport and Dubuque.

She arrived back in Dexter at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Then, knocked on the front window of the Creston News Advertiser for a scheduled interview Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m.

By the end of the month, Findley will have visited each Iowa county.

“I’m willing to campaign in all 99 counties because I want to serve Iowans as their legal advocate and serve them as their attorney general,” she said. “I couldn’t possibly do that without visiting all 99 counties. Every county has different needs. I know this because I’m from a place like Dexter.”
