Stofferahn, Williamson wed in Oct. 8 ceremony

Jaimie Suzanne Stofferahn and John Matthew Williamson, both of Des Moines, were married in a 6 p.m. Oct. 8 ceremony at Salem Lutheran Church in Creston. The Rev. Ben McIntire of Creston officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Todd and Suzie Stofferahn of Creston. The groom is the son of Don and Teresa Williamson of Creston.
Maid of honor was Laura Baker of Winterset.
Bridesmaids were Gretchen Stofferahn of St. Louis Park, Minn., sister-in-law of the bride, Dayna Grabinoski of Armstrong and Devon Burger of Afton, cousin of the groom.
Bride’s personal attendant was Jacque Jay of Des Moines.
Best man was Andy Ide of Creston.
Groomsmen were Jake Williamson of Creston, brother of the groom, Zach Stofferahn of Minneapolis, Minn., brother of the bride, and Gabe Stofferahn of St. Louis Park, Minn., brother of the bride.
Ushers were Matthew Hudson of Creston, Jim Ide of Creston and Travis Woollums of Afton, brother-in-law of the groom.
Flower girls were Payten Pierce of Kansas, cousin of the bride, and Brylea Woollums of Afton, niece of the groom.
Ring attendant was Amelie Davis of San Jose, Calif., cousin of the bride.
Organist was Sherry McKie of Creston.
Vocalists were Gwen Buck and Diana McKim, both of Creston.
Reader was Jack Davis of Creston, grandfather of the bride.
Candlelighters were Davis and Taryn Christy of Geneva, Ill., both cousins of the bride.
Honored guests were Jack and Cheri Davis of Creston, Lois Stofferahn of Humboldt, S.D., Jack and Fran Bakerink of Creston and Jean Williamson of Creston.
Guest book hostesses were Cassie Hudson of Creston and Megan Williamson of Creston, sister-in-law of the groom.
Program hostesses were Megan Brown of Des Moines and Lindsay Grose of Creston.
A reception was held after the ceremony at Crestmoor Golf Club in Creston.
Reception hostesses were Deborah Christy of Geneva, Ill., Angie Davis of San Jose, Calif., and Kris Jorgensen of Sioux City, all aunts of the bride, and Shelli Burger of Afton, aunt of the groom.
Deon Austin of San Jose, Calif., cousin of the bride, was in charge of gifts.
The bride received her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in 2009 and master’s degree from Des Moines University in health administration in 2011. She works for Iowa Health in Des Moines.
The groom graduated from Southwestern Community College in 2007 with an associate degree. He works for Wells Fargo in Des Moines.
The couple reside in Des Moines.
