Baird, Kendrick to wed in Mexico

Tara Lea Baird and Brian David Kendrick, both of Scottsdale, Ariz., announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

Baird is the daughter of John and Lisa Shaw, Tom Baird and Brenda Scadden, all of Creston. Kendrick is the son of Sara Kendrick of Des Moines and Bob and Lucy Kendrick of Creston.

Baird graduated from Creston High School in 1995 and is employed by the 41st Parameter in Scottsdale, Ariz., as a technical account manager.

Kendrick graduated from Creston High School in 1988, and was employed by McAninch Corporation of Des Moines since 1998, until his recent move to Scottsdale, Ariz., where he will seek employment.

A March 15 destination wedding is planned at Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort in Cancun, Mexico. A wedding reception will be held for the couple in Creston in April.
