Lindsey Sue Jackson, 29, 311 N. Cherry St., was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, second offense, 12:29 a.m. today at the intersection of Lincoln and Townline streets.

According to a Creston police report, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation and observed Jackson had bloodshot and watery eyes and an odor of an alcoholic beverage. Jackson said she’d had a couple of drinks. A breathalyzer test indicated Jackson had a blood-alcohol content of .235. A check of Jackson’s criminal history showed she had a previous OWI charge within the past 12 years.

Jackson is being held in the Adams County Jail for Union County on $2,000 bond.
