Several items in recent issues of Creston News Advertiser have praised Planned Parenthood, the last being an editorial piece by staff writer Amy Hansen in the Feb. 7, 2012, issue.

We keep being told repeatedly the suspicious statistics and arguments in defense of Planned Parenthood. But not all of us are enamored with either the history or present status of Planned Parenthood.

Their long-time abetment and approval of sexual promiscuity, commencing with the teachings and example of their founder Margaret Sanger, may be popular in much of modern society. But not all of us think that it has given us a better culture or made us a better nation.
