Walter Anthony Hodgkins, 31, and Jennifer Hodgkins, 34, both of 307 N. Birch St., were charged with conspiracy to deliver marijuana 11:30 a.m. Monday at their residence.

According to a Creston Police report, a search warrant was conducted 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Hodgkins’ residence. During the search, evidence was seized, which confirmed illegal-drug trafficking at the residence. Walter and Jennifer Hodgkins both admitted to selling marijuana from their residence. They also admitted marijuana was sold from their residence on numerous occasions.

Walter and Jennifer Hodgkins are both being held in the Union County Jail on $5,000 bond each.


Nickolas Payne Weckman, 17, 1003 S. Sumner Ave., was referred to juvenile authorities for possession of paraphernalia and conspiracy to deliver marijuana 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Weckman was released to his mother.


Brent Romesburg, 227 S. Lincoln St., reported four valve stems on his pickup were cut while the vehicle was parked at his residence between midnight and 5:30 a.m. Monday.

Damage estimate is $50.
