Keller Dinner

The Keller dinner will be held Sunday at the Methodist Church in Afton. There will be a basket dinner at noon.

Class of 1952 60th Reunion

The class of 1952 held a reunion the weekend of Aug. 10 and 11. They met for fellowship at Crestmoor Golf Club and had dinner at A&G Restaurant on Friday evening.

Saturday morning they toured the restored lowana Hotel, where one classmate's father had a pharmacy on the first floor back in the '50s, then lunched at The Windrow. In the afternoon, they had a guided tour of Greater Regional Medical Center and vistited the federal building (old post office) and restored Creston Depot to see the presidential dolls that were made by another classmate's mother. Dinner was held at The Windrow.

Those attending from out of state were: Don and Nancy Ament, Texas; Carlton and Bemice Arey, Colorado; David Blair, Kentucky; Al and Dixie (Conway) Dworak, Colorado; Linnea (Liken) Aduddell, Illinois; Gary and Gayle McLaughIin, Texas; John Partlow, Calif.; Betty (Rice) Williams, Nebraska; Jim and Mary (Miller) Schardein, Michigan; and Dorothy (Thomson) Shea and Jim Ball, Florida.

Attending from Iowa were: Bill and Cathy Abbott, Don and Helen (Bolton) Mosman, Gene and Kay (Vetterick) Carlson, Mary Ann (Cihak) Walsh, Don Delaney and daughter Pam, Larry and Pauletta (Malone) Delaney, Midge (Enghauser) Scurlock, Dean Grandfield, Ted and Dawn Ide, Gilmer and Refa Mayne, Lois (Mikkelsen) Jensen, Gene Smith, Rex and Connie Spainhower, Don Ulm and Shirley Ray.

Helen Mosman was in charge of activities and reservations. Linnea Aduddell made booklets; and Larry and Pauletta Delaney furnished cake for Saturday evening.
