Jay and Ronice Flowers of Corning are parents of a son born Sept. 10, 2012. Levi Parker Flowers weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Holly and Perry Steeve of Corning and Carroll and Janet Flowers of Galena, Kan.

Great-grandparents are Pat and Lyle Steeve of Creston and Virginia Stanley of Galena, Kan.

Siblings are Tyler, 13, and Willow, 5.

URBANDALE — Jessie Corkrean and Nik Schirber of Urbandale are parents of a son born Aug. 30, 2012. Roch Orrin James Schirber weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20 3/4 inches long. Grandparents are Jim and Chris Corkrean of Orient and Julie and Tom Schriber of Houston, Texas.

Great-grandparents are Bill and Shirley Harry of Orient and Barb Corkrean of Winterset.

Siblings are Leven, 10, Bella, 7, and Savannah, 13 months.
