Chanda Faris and Jerimy Brockus of Osceola are parents of a son born Sept. 16, 2012. Zaydin Allen Brockus weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long.

Grandparents are Brenda Ingram of Old Town, Fla., and Steven Scarlett of Mount Ayr.

Great-grandparents are Mary Seeley of Chariton, David Faris of Centerville and Virginia and Joseph Morgan of Decatur City.
