No citations were issued after an accident 6:52 p.m. Saturday on Highway 25.

According to a Union County Sheriff’s report, Frances Elizabeth Myers, 20, 1520 Highway 25, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet south on Highway 25 when the passenger side tires dropped off the roadway. Myers jerked the steering wheel to bring the car back on the roadway, lost control, went into the west ditch and hit the ditch embankment, which caused the vehicle to roll numerous times. The vehicle came to rest on the driver’s side.
