Samantha L. Hays and Brandon H. Whitfield join together with their parents John and Lori Hays of Creston and Keith and Sherrita Whitfield of Creston in announcing their engagement and approaching marriage.

Hays is a 2003 graduate of Creston High School and 2005 graduate of the Southwestern Community College LPN program. She is currently employed at Midwest Opportunities Incorporated in Creston.

Whitfield is a 2005 graduate of Creston High School. He is currently employed at Fansteel Wellman Dynamics in Creston.
