Library move not a good plan

I appreciate all the hard work by Friends of the Library and their volunteers in putting on the awesome book sale over the balloon day weekend. It was one of the highlights of my weekend to go shopping for books with my son.

In saying that, I also have to say that I got a look at the proposed site of the library, if there was to be a move. I was not impressed. I am more concerned than ever with the talk of moving from the current location into the Lincoln School. I have talked to many people and most are not in favor of the move. I have not been in favor of the move, and now I am sure that it needs to be put to a vote of the entire county. That building has the look of becoming a giant money pit that we would be paying for, for years to come. Please let the citizens who would be responsible for the ongoing expense be the ones to decide if the move is to be made.
