Richard Ross Trucks, 72, of Lenox, died Sept. 28, 2012, at Alegent Health Hospital in Corning.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the United Methodist Church in Lenox. Interment will be in North Fairview Cemetery in Lenox. Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. today with family present 5 to 7 p.m. at Ritchie Funeral Home, 124 S. Main St., Lenox. Richard Ross Trucks, son of Hazel Kathleen (Rhodes) and Gurney Trucks, was born Sept. 2, 1940, in Carroll.

On Jan. 14, 1968, Richard married Patricia Ann Davis of Grinnell. They began farming near Searsboro in 1970, then bought their current farm west of Lenox in 1974.

Richard is survived by his wife Patricia; children, Craig (Donna), Heidi (David) Ames and Galen (Trudy); and grandchildren, Halley, Grant, Devon and Beatrice and sister Mary Jane Alborn.

Richard was preceded in death by his sisters, Beth Ellen, Shirley and Marilyn.
