Four charged after drug bust in Mount Ayr

MOUNT AYR — Eduardo Mondragon-Sanchez, 33, Maria Del Rosario Tress Brito, 39, and Noel Mondragon, 34, all of Mount Ayr and Jose Silvano Garfias-Arreola, 21, of Cranfordville, Ind., were arrested on multiple charges between Sept. 24 and 25.

According to a Ringgold County Sheriff’s office press release, a deputy made a traffic stop and with the assistance of the K-9 unit, led to two arrests Sept. 24. Garfias-Arreola and Mondragon-Sanchez were both charged with conspiracy to manufacture a schedule one controlled substance (marijuana), a Class B Felony, and possession of a schedule one controlled substance (marijuana), a serious misdemeanor.

Both have bonds set at $101,000 and have immigration customs enforcement detainers on them.
