Goldammer, Dorgan wed April 28

Jill Goldammer of St. Louis, Mo., and Lance Dorgan of St. Charles, Mo., were married at 4 p.m. April 28 at Faith Lutheran Church in Jefferson City, Mo. The Rev. Paul Hemenway performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Samuel and Debra Goldammer of Jefferson City, Mo. The groom is the son of Lawrence and Mary Jo Dorgan of Creston.

The bride wore an ivory, A-line dress with a sweetheart neckline, beaded bodice and chapel-length train. She completed her ensemble with a one-tier veil with beaded trim. She carried a bouquet of ivory English garden roses.

The honor attendant was Jennifer Thompson of Lohman, Mo., sister of the bride. The attendants were Stephanie Goldammer of Denver, Colo., Kara Johnson of Kansas City, Mo., and Amanda Goldsmith of St. Louis, Mo. The junior attendant was Rebecca Thompson of Lohman, Mo., niece of the bride. They wore pewter chiffon, strapless cocktail dresses with a sweetheart neckline and ruching on the bodice.

The best man was Joseph Harszy of St. Louis, Mo. The groomsmen were Brian Dorgan of Nagoya, Japan, brother of the groom; Matthew Lomax of Denver, Colo., and Clinton Mitchell of St. Charles, Mo.

The flower girls were Rachel and Leah Thompson of Lohman, Mo., nieces of the bride.

The ushers were Douglas Goldammer of Jefferson City, Mo., brother of the bride, and Michael Dorgan of Indianola, nephew of the groom.

Music was provided by a string quartet.

A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Jefferson City, Mo.

A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom’s parents, was held April 27 at Madison’s Café.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Jefferson City High School, a 2003 graduate of Concordia University, Seward, Neb., with an elementary education degree; and a 2009 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Master of Education. She is a second grade teacher at Forsyth School, Clayton, Mo.

The groom is a 1992 graduate of Creston High School and 1997 graduate of Truman State University, Kirksville, Mo., with a mathematics degree. He is an IT program manager at Our365 in St. Charles, Mo.

In June, the couple honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii. The couple reside in St. Charles, Mo.
