Andrew Joseph Putz, 26, 703 N. Elm St., was issued a citation for failure to prove security against liability, and Bridgette Nichole Taylor, 17, 2640 330th St., was issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign after an accident 1:45 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Elm and Irving streets.
According to a Creston Police report, Taylor, driving a 1999 Cadillac west on Irving Street, did not yield at the stop sign before entering the intersection, causing a collision with Putz, who was driving a 2004 Chevrolet north on Elm Street. Taylor stated her view was blocked by a trash can.
Damage estimates are $2,500 each to Taylor’s and Putz’s vehicles.
