Mike Rice, 93, of Lenox died Oct. 7, 2012, at his home.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Lenox Presbyterian Church. Interment with military rites accorded by Parkinson American Legion Post No. 250 will be in North Fairview Cemetery in Lenox. Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday with family present 5 to 7 p.m. at Ritchie Funeral Home, 124 S. Main St., Lenox. Memorials may be directed to Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines. Lewis “Mike” Rice, son of Minnie (Minnick) and Douglas Rice, was born June 17, 1919, in rural Mount Ayr.
