The group participated in a drawing for the many door prizes.

Kiwanis

The weekly Kiwanis meeting was held 12:05 p.m. Tuesday at The Windrow with 26 members and four guests. Brad Lorenzen president, presided. Jim Morris gave the prayer, and Chuck Taylor was finemaster.

The program was Sharon Snodgrass and Mark O’Riley with Appalachian Service Project, who discussed the work the group has done every summer since 1983. Kiwanis also presented them with a $200 check for next year’s supplies and expenses.

The club will be selling live Christmas wreaths in two sizes and a swag as a fundraiser with delivery before Thanksgiving. Contact any member for information. Deadline to order will be Nov. 6.
