John Rose is ready to work for you at the Iowa House of Representatives.

John is a homegrown boy – born and raised in Iowa. He and his wife of over 40 years, Lois Rose, are both retired educators.

He taught my kids when they were in Creston High School and was a favorite teacher of theirs. His wife Lois is also well known in the education community in Union County.

Mr. Rose taught social studies and is a former coach for Creston and Adair-Casey school systems. He holds advanced college degrees – both a bachelor's and master's – from Mankato State.

Lois Rose taught in the East-Union school system 10 years before transferring to the Creston schools.

John promises to put aside partisan politics and do what is right to help our rural communities. He, of course, supports advancing education initiatives to assure Iowa meets and/or exceeds state and national standards.

John Rose wants to see new, good-paying jobs come to southwest Iowa. Tax structures need to be in place to assure safe roads and good bridges. The recreational infrastructure needs to be preserved, as well. Everyone needs to pay their fair share.

Mr. Rose will fight to do what is right for all lowans. Vote John Rose for State Representative on November 6th.
