Youths plan Trick-O-Canning

What is UMYF? A group of Good kids doing Good things from the Creston and Jerusalem United Methodist Churches.

This group will be dressing up in Halloween costumes 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday and Trick-O-Canning for canned goods and/or items to donate to MATURA because the food pantry is always in need of items. The kids will split up into small groups and go door-to-door on a scavenger hunt. If they should arrive at your door, please give generously. A Union County family will be grateful for your donation. Thank you in advance for your donations and time.

This group will also be hosting Trunk-or-Treating and a carnival at the First United Methodist Church on the corner of Elm and Howard streets 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 28. This will be a safe Halloween alternative for all youths under the age of 10. Hope to see you all that evening.
