McCampbell appointed senior grand deacon of Masons in Iowa

Rick McCampbell of Creston was appointed senior grand deacon by Bryce Hildreth, grand master of Masons in Iowa, for the 2012-13 year. McCampbell was installed in the office during Iowa Masonry’s 168th annual meeting Sept. 21-22 in Waterloo.

He is a member of Crest City Masonic Lodge No. 522. McCampbell will be traveling the state representing the Grand Lodge of Iowa and promoting the grand master’s theme of “Freemasonry - Ties That Bind.”

There are more than 20,000 Masons in Iowa dedicated to the betterment of themselves, their family, church and community and support of the youth.
