Brian Andre Keith Whitfield, 32, 306 W. Adams St., was charged 1:20 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of West Montgomery Street for driving while barred.

According to a Creston Police report, on Monday, officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle driven by Whitfield. It was known to the officer Whitfield has a driver’s license status of barred. The registration on the vehicle was also expired. The officer conducted a traffic stop, and a check of Whitfield’s driver’s license status said Whitfield’s license was still barred.

Whitfield was released on $2,000 bond.
