Union County should thank you, Lois Monday. It was great to read in the Wednesday, Oct. 24 paper, the huge strides the supervisors have made in the last 2 years.

Employee morale is good at the courthouse, the board is working together and bills are being questioned before paid, to name a few of the accomplishments. Remember this came about by the determination of Lois Monday to stop the out-of-control spending.

Union County has a present board member of 28 years. He has served while all the excess spending and bad board decisions were made. The bean plant bond should not have been approved. Taxpayers are paying $24.24 for every $50,000 assessed property value until 2017. A $5,000,000 bond has cost almost $10,000,000 with legal fees and etc.

Please vote for Lois Monday and Dennis Brown; they have our county on the right track, keep the train moving.
