Richard Beam, 47, of Afton, was charged 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at his residence for failure to dispose of a refrigerator.
According to an Afton Police report, Beam was issued a notice to abate nuisance on Sept. 24. The abatement notice included immediate removal or disposal of a green refrigerator in the backyard. On Wednesday, the Afton Police Department checked on the status of the abatement and noticed the refrigerator still in the yard.
He was issued a police citation to appear.
