Jason Klimaszewski, 22, of Lorimor, was charged 3:05 p.m. Wednesday at his residence on a Department of Corrections warrant for probation violation, assult on an officer and interference with official acts.
According to a Union County Sheriff’s report, at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday, Klimaszewski interfered with a peace officer’s official duties by resisting arrest. While resisting arrest, Klimaszewski struck the officer in the face with his fist, committing an assult. Klimaszewski continued to assult the officer by wiping blood on the officer’s face and hands, attempting to inflict bodily injury.
Klimaszewski is being held on no bond until his initial appearance before the magistrate.
