Five Red Raiders, three Tigers academic all-district

The Corning football team placed five players on the Eight-Man District 8 academic all-district team, while the Lenox Tigers placed three players on the team.

Making the team for Corning were seniors Justin Marn and Blaine Williams and juniors Drey Barton, Zach Barton and Keegan Longabaugh.

Lenox senior Mason Peterson and juniors Dustin Gordon and Todd Stoaks earned the honor as well.

In order to make the academic all-district team, players must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.

The Eight-Man District 8 academic all-district team is as follows:
