A vehicle reported stolen by John Gravlin, 1799 170th St., was later recovered after an accident.

According to a Creston Police report, Gravlin reported a 1999 Ford Ranger was taken from his residence sometime after 8 p.m. Tuesday.

At 10 p.m. Tuesday, Union County Sheriff’s reported a 1999 Ford Ranger owned by Michelle Hanson, 1799 170th St., was traveling south on Jaguar Avenue when the driver struck a deer, entered the west ditch, hit a culvert causing both air bags to go off. The vehicle then came back onto the roadway and stopped in the intersection of Jaguar and 170th Street.
