Miranda Pedersen and James Burton of Prescott are parents of a son born Nov. 8, 2012. James Leander Burton Jr. weighed 9 pounds, 4 ounces and was 21 3/4 inches long.
Grandparents are John Burton and Shonda Cotton of Raleigh, N.C., and Janet Pederson of Corning.
