Casey Welcher and Hayley McVay of Creston are parents of a son born Nov. 9, 2012. Bentley Michael Welcher weighed 7.5 pounds and was 20 1/4 inches long.

Grandparents are Teresa Earley and Kevin Earley of Creston, Michelle Lillie and Tyler Lillie of Lenox, Mark Adams of Saint Joseph, Mo., and Dwayne Welcher of Kellerton.

Great-grandparents are Tom and Peggy Kester of Fontanelle, Keith and Jill Clarke, Joan McVay and Michael McVay, Naomi Welcher and Pam and Michael Lillie of Prescott.

Great-great-grandparent is Paul Smith of Kellerton.
