An accident is still under investigation 3:54 p.m. Friday on Kentucky Avenue in rural Adams County.
According to a Corning Police report, emergency personnel were called to a single-car accident involving three people. The driver, Kaitlyn Deyoung, 19, of Corning, lost control of her 2006 Saturn. The vehicle went over a hill, entered the east ditch and came in to contact with trees causing injuries to 17-year-old passenger Amanda Simmons who was transported by air ambulance to an unlisted hospital.
