Creston Activities Booster Club will meet 5:30 p.m. today at A&G Pizza, 211 W. Adams Street.
Agenda includes CHS Publications representative visit, Volunteer of Year, activity report and new clothing report ordered for the holiday season.
The SWCC Girls Basketball Jamboree Thursday will include four games beginning at 5:45 p.m.
The event is directed by Larry McNutt, Creston High School head girls basketball coach, and Brett Gilcrist, head women's basketball coach at Southwestern Community College.
Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students.
The schedule includes: Riverside vs. CAM, 5:45 p.m.; Clarke vs. Nodaway Valley, 6:30 p.m.; Adair-Casey vs. East Union, 7:15 p.m.; Martensdale-St. Marys vs. Creston, 8 p.m.
Cross country banquet
The Creston cross country awards banquet will be held 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, in the high school commons.
Families are asked to bring two covered dishes and table service. Beverages will be provided.
The Creston volleyball awards banquet will be held noon Sunday, Nov. 18, in the high school commons.
Families of team members are asked to bring a main dish and either a side dish or dessert. Beverages will be provided. Fans of the volleyball team are welcome to attend.
The annual Southwestern Community College athletic fundraiser will be held Friday at Creston Elks Lodge. Doors open at 6 p.m, with dinner at 7:30.
Tickets are $25 each and include refreshments and hors d' oeures, buffet dinner, coaches presentations and an auction/raffle.
