Creston Schools

Creston School is once again going to have Presents For People We Care About. This is a program for pre-k through eighth grade. Each classroom has a designated time to come and shop for someone they care about. This program is donation based with no cost to the shoppers.

We are looking for gently used or new items for the store. Depending on donations, children will be allowed to shop for more then one person.

Items needed include crafts, knick knacks, jewelry, items for men, candles, decorations, toys, gift bags, wrapping paper, tape, small boxes and packing materials. If it’s in good shape and you think it would make a special gift, we would love to have it. “One person’s trash is another person’s treasure” definitely applies.

We would also love to have volunteers. Volunteers can come for a day or even one class period. It’s loud, a little hectic and messy, but also a joyous occasion.

Donations need to be dropped off at the Creston Elementary/Middle School by Friday Dec. 9. Shopping will take place daily the week of Dec. 12.

If you have any questions, please call Jane Shantz at 782-1155.
