Creston

I just wanted to let the people of Creston know of the kindness that was bestowed on
many of us who lost trees in the tornado.

Members of the First Baptist Church, 1001 N. Lincoln, contacted us about replacing some trees that were lost during the storm. After several contacts and choosing of trees, the culmination was Saturday, November 10. They dug the holes, planted the trees and staked them. Our only requirement was to make water available to them. The trees are beautiful and large. We know it took many man hours and dollars for this project, and we are so very appreciative.

So, if you want to see a community project that was very worthwhile, take a little drive around the neighborhood just west of the First Baptist Church and watch our new trees grow.

Thank you Pastor Fields and members of the First Baptist Church.
