Lenox Police

Erik Mullen of Lenox reported vandalism to his Ford Ranger after 2 a.m. Friday.

According to a Lenox Police report, Mullen’s windshield was shattered, tires slashed and paint keyed. Police are unable to identify any suspects.

Lenox police request any witnesses that may have seen or heard anything involving this incident to contact Lenox Police Department at (641) 333-2929.

Walter Malacara, 22, and Wendy Malacara, 25, both of Lenox, were charged for domestic assault causing injury 5:15 p.m. Saturday.

According to a Lenox Police report, police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of South Walnut Street. An investigation showed a physical altercation had taken place between the adult brother and sister while at their mother’s residence.

Walter Malacara was transported to Taylor County Jail and Wendy Malacara was transported to Ringgold County Jail. Both are being held without bond pending an appearance before a judge.
