Jeanette Jean Yarrington, 31, of Afton, was cited for failure to yield upon entering through a highway after an accident 12:50 p.m. Tuesday at Wyoming and Taylor Street.

According to a Creston Police report, Yarrington, driving a 2001 Ford south on Wyoming Avenue , stopped at the stop sign and proceeded to cross the intersection where she collided with a 2007 Chevrolet driven by Steve Alan Crittenden, 54, 1612 185th St.

Yarrington stated a commercial truck, in the north lane on Taylor, was obstructing her view. As she proceeded to cross the intersection, Crittenden, driving west on the inside lane of Taylor, was unable to stop when Yarrington pulled out.
