Dalton Hribal, 16, of Creston died Nov. 23, 2012, near Prescott, after injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Creston High School gymnasium. The Rev. Ken Halbur will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Open visitation will be 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday with family present 4 to 7 p.m. and a 6:30 p.m. vigil service Tuesday at Powers Funeral Home, junction of highways 34 and 25. Dalton Joseph Hribal, son of Christy Ann (Lowe) and Shane Joseph Hribal, was born June 14, 1996, in Creston.
Dalton was educated in Creston Schools, where he was active in wrestling and football.
He worked at Fareway in Creston.
Dalton is survived by his mother Christy Hribal of Creston; father Shane Hribal (significant other Molly Burchett) of Creston; sisters, Mykenna Hribal of Creston and Jenna Swisher of Boone; grandparents, Kathy Hribal and Joe Hribal, both of Creston, and Diana Lowe of Mount Pleasant; great-grandparents, Gene (wife Jean) Miller of Creston and Mary Bennett of Monmouth, Ill.; aunts, Dawn (husband Kevin) Drake of Creston, Jessica (husband Josh) Wambold of Lenox and Janelle (husband Bob) Lowe-Bowman of Mount Pleasant; many other aunts, uncles, cousins, family, classmates and friends.
Dalton was preceded in death by his grandfather Morris Ray Lowe; great-grandparents, Shirley Miller, Sollie and Mary Elizabeth Lowe, William and Wanda Bennett and Joe and Bernadine Hribal; uncles, Jerry and Brendan Miller and cousin C.J. Miller.
