David Dewayne Richman, 30, 109 N. Oak St., was charged 3:15 a.m. today for third-degree public intoxication.
According to a Creston Police report, Richman walked in to the Union County Law Enforcement Center and requested to be arrested for public intoxication. Richman was staggering when he entered the building and had slurred speech and blood shot, watery eyes. A criminal history check showed Richman had previous charges of public intoxication on his record.
Richman was transported to Union County Jail.
