Donna Hill, 72, of Sharpsburg died Nov. 28, 2012, at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Sharpsburg Presbyterian Church. There will be no visitation prior to services. There will be a private family interment of ashes. Donna Lee (Larson) Hill, daughter of Lillie (Johnson) and Herbie Larson, was born Jan. 31, 1940, in New Market.
Donna grew up attending New Market schools. Donna then moved to Clarinda where she worked at a clothing store.
On June 11, 1967, Donna married Forland Francis Hill.
Donna was a member of the Ladies Aid in Blockton. She also worked at Blockton Café. Later in life, Donna obtained her certified medication aide certificate and was a CMA at Taylor Ridge Estates for many years until a stroke forced her into retirement in 1996.
Donna is survived by her sons, Jeff Hill of Sharpsburg, Greg (wife Deanna) Hill of Creston and Kevin (wife Jennifer) Hill of Grapevine, Texas; daughter Kerri (husband Troy) Howard of Creston; grandsons, Logan, Devon, Marshall, Jackson, Liam and Torin; brothers, Verlin (wife Shirley) Larson of Clarinda, Merrill (wife Harryette) Larson of New Market, Lyndall (wife Joyce) Larson of Clarinda and Darwin (wife Sharon) Larson of Fargo, N.D.; along with many other family members and friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 2011; sister Ruby Wilson; brothers, Gary, Brad and Dallas Larson; and son Bryan Scott.
