Evelyn Reed, 92, of Creston died Nov. 28, 2012, at Crest Haven Care Centre.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Pearson Family Funeral Service, 809 W. Montgomery St. The Rev. Kenneth Halbur will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Open visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today with family present 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family in Evelyn’s name for a scholarship. Evelyn Elizabeth Reed, daughter of Martha Emma (Dixon) and Benjamin Franklin Brown, was born April 26, 1920, near Prescott in Adams County.
