Josselyn Renee Wells, 26, 706 W. Lucas St., was charged 9:44 a.m. Friday at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on two Union County warrants for third-degree burglary and failure to comply with pretrial release on an original charge of delivery of a controlled substance.
According to a Creston Police report, Wells entered an unoccupied vehicle that was parked in the Walmart parking lot and took some items from the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle witnessed this happen, approached Wells and told Wells to return the items. Wells returned some of the item and left the scene. The owner of the vehicle went to the Union County Law Center and filled out a statement. A surveillance video was obtained from Walmart confirming the the witness’ statement.
Wells is being held on $50,000 bond at Ringgold County Jail.
Dustin James Seley, 34, 212 S. Pine St., was charged 11:21 a.m. Sunday for possession of paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.
According to a Creston Police report, officers responded to a complaint of an unconscious person in a car in front of 510 South Birch Street. Officers identified the person in the vehicle as Seley in the drivers seat of a parked Chevrolet. Seley showed sings of impairment and made immediate movements placing his hands in his pockets. Officers found Seley to be in possession of a glass pipe commonly used to ingest methamphetamine. The officers conducted an inventory of the vehicle, which was not registered to Seley, and found a red plastic bag containing various pills and residue consistent with methamphetamine. The officer also seized $140, which was located near the bag. The residue field tested positive for methamphetamine. The bag, pipe, currency and photographs were seized as evidence.
Seley was released on $1,000 bond.
Robert Duane Haynes, 34, 212 S. Pine St., and Ryan Patrick Dukleth, 39, 206 N. Sumner St., were charged 12:42 a.m. Sunday for tresspassing.
According to a Creston Police report, Haynes and Dukleth tresspassed upon a property located at 312 N. Sycamore St. without permission with the intention of taking a storm window.
Haynes and Dukleth were released on their promise to appear.
