A 13-2 first quarter carried West Central Valley seventh-grade girls to a 33-12 victory over Creston Monday.

Creston stayed within a 10-6 margin while playing strong defense in the second and third quarters, but the start and finish of the game was too much to overcome.

Chloe Hagle had six points for Creston and Kendra Stewart had four.

West Central Valley won the B game, 17-4.
