Craig Hoskinson Bellevue, Neb.

Craig S. Hoskinson, 59, of Bellevue, Neb., died Nov. 20, 2012, at Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha, Neb.

No public services are planned. Heafey Hoffmann Dworak Cutler, 7805 W. Center Road, Omaha, Neb., is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the Visiting Nurse Association Hospice in Craig’s memory at VNA Hospice, 12565 W. Center Rd., STE 100, Omaha, NE 58144. Craig S. Hoskinson, son Joan and Allen “Jack” Hoskinson Jr., was born May 2, 1953, in Corning.

Craig was raised and attended school in the Prescott area and graduated from Prescott High School in 1971.

Craig attended Regis University, Iowa State University, North Iowa Area Community College and Texarkana Community College.

On Dec. 23, 1978, Craig married Maureen J. Powell in Stuart.

Craig started his career as a general mechanic with Brakke Implement in Mason City.  He went on to become shop forman/service manager with John Deere Agricultural Dealerships with Circle H Implement in Garner, Con Mark Industrail Machinery in Texarkana, Ark., Butterbrodt Implement in Tama and Iowa Implement, Inc. in Lisbon. He furthered his agricultural career with farm machinery as a hay tool service specialist with White-New Idea of Coldwater, Ohio, and as a sales engineer with New Idea Products, a component of AGCO, Duluth, Ga.

Craig was a 15-year employee of CLAAS of America, Inc. He started as the parts and service manager in Columbus, Ind. Craig was transferred to Omaha, Neb., in 2002, where he served as the North American service manager.

In addition to his career, Craig was president of Maple Lane Farms, Ltd., of Stuart. He was also a member of Masonic Fremont Lodge No. 616 of Stanwood.

Craig is survived by his wife Maureen of Bellevue, Neb.; daughter Audrey of Indianapolis, Ind. (fiancé Joshua Starr); mother-in-law Lougene J. Powell of Stuart; brothers, Jay (Denese) Hoskinson of Dallas Center and Steve (Diane) Hoskinson of Creston; sisters, Cynthia (Joe) Wolf of Creston and Suzanne (Tony) Shebek of Iowa City; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law Max Powell; brother-in-law Guy Powell; and grandnephew Ashton.
