Ehlers, Deranleau plan December wedding

Bob and Shonda Deranleau of Creston announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son William Robert Deranleau to Sarah Lavon Ehlers, daughter of Diann Ehlers of Paullina and the late Jerry Ehlers of Sutherland.

Ehlers graduated from Concordia University in Seward, Neb. with a degree in secondary education. She currently substitute teaches with the East Union, Creston, Diagonal and St. Malachy school districts. Deranleau graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in manufacturing technology. He is employed by Cargill, Fort Dodge.

The couple is planning a Dec. 30 wedding at Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina.
