girls roll 30-pin victory over Clarke

OSCEOLA — The Creston/O-M girls edged Osceola Clarke by 30 pins, while the boys fell, 2518-2432, in bowling action here Saturday.

Madison Hance had a 346 series on games of 153-193 to lead the Panther girls (5-2). Devon Eddy rolled games of 147 and 158 for a 305 total.

“We had a slow start under some difficult conditions,” coach Ron Pendegraft said. “The oil pattern was not what we were used to and for some reason we couldn’t make good adjustments. After round one we were down about 40 pins, but in the Baker round we tied it up after the first game and built a 40-pin lead. We finished strong.”
