The Southwestern Community College Education Foundation is honored to announce the opportunity to provide scholarship funding to individuals through the Leona Turner Memorial GED Scholarship.

The family of the late Leona Turner, a lifetime resident of Mills County (Hastings and Malvern), will provide three scholarships annually to individuals seeking assistance in completing the GED exam.

“The family hopes this scholarship will lead to further educational and employment opportunities to individuals completing their GED through Southwestern Community College,” said Sharon Larson, daughter of Leona Turner.
