Accident
No citations were issued after a car accident 1:30 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 169.
According to a Union County Sheriff report, James Hensley, 57, of Mount Ayr, was driving a 2009 Dodge north on Highway 169 when he entered a ditch. Upon entering the ditch, Hensley lost control of his vehicle causing the vehicle to stop on its side.
Damage estimate is $10,000.
