Jim Bird, 53, of Creston died Dec. 19, 2012, at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Creston. The Rev. Jonathan Watt will officiate. There will be no visitation held. James Allen Bird, son of Frances Dell (Lee) and Jerry Lee Bird, was born Aug. 13, 1959, in Creston.
