Michael Allen Drabek, 18, of Thayer, was cited for failure to maintain control after an accident 12:02 p.m. Sunday at West Adams Street and Sumner Avenue.

According to a Creston Police Report, Curtis Scott Seitz, driving a 2008 Infinity north on Sumner Ave., was waiting to make a left turn on West Adams Street. Drabek was in his vehicle behind Seitz. Seitz stated he started to move up a bit on Sumner Avenue and came to a stop. Drabek stated he saw Seitz’s vehicle move forward and he also started to move forward, looked down and did not stop causing him to strike Seitz’s vehicle.

Damage estimates are $500 to Drabek’s vehicle and $4,000 to Seitz’s vehicle.
