Robert “Hap” Richards – Mount Ayr

Robert “Hap” Richards, 88, of Mount Ayr died Dec. 20, 2012, at his home. Funeral services were 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 24, at the First Christian Church in Mount Ayr. The Rev. Chris Conklin officiated. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Mount Ayr. Military rites at the cemetery were by American Legion Ringgold Post No. 172 and U.S. Navy Honor Guard. Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr, was in charge of arrangements. A memorial fund has been established in his name to be decided later.
