Accident

No citations were issued after an accident 8:02 p.m. Tuesday on Taylor Street just east of Walnut Street.

According to a Creston Police report, Danny Ray Hulse, 46, 300 S. Vine St., driving a 2001 Jeep, had just turned left onto Taylor from South Walnut Street. Hulse attempted a right turn into a private business drive way into the path of a 1995 Chevrolet driven by Skyler Allen Cook, 17, 1108 N. Elm St. Cook stated he saw Hulse pull out and attempted to get in the right lane to go around when Hulse turned in front of him.

Damage estimates are $3,500 to Hulse’s vehicle and $3,000 to Cook’s vehicle.
